Has anyone ever seen a Dr Pepper cooler with "embossed red bricks" on it, green in color and the "good for life" embossing.
I found one that looks like a westinghouse standard with two lids and refrig. unit., it is complete, good shape and cools. Priced around 400.00, any ideas on what is value is? Thanks Terry

It may be a Quikold Cooler. I didn't see this in person but a few years back there was a auction listed in the Antique Trader and it had a Standard cooler with the Brick Logo on it and the rest of the cooler was the DP green..... $400 and the size of a standard I'd be hauling it home right now... But I'm on the hunt for Quikolds.... Would love...LOVE to see it! Snap an image of it (while you're loading it into your truck)

How come none of this cool stuff is in Missouri!......

Terry - any chance you have a pic?  I can't add anything to the conversation but I'm having trouble picturing the machine and graphics you're talking about.

Another thought on this...Dr Pepper, as far as embossing goes, is rare....
Most machines DP used.... they just screwed signs to them... But I'm sure you have the machine books and know all that already.....It sounds like a nice size and if it's solid and
works, at that price, I would buy it...

I'll post some pictures of it as soon as I pick it up. The owner is holding it for me until I can get there to pick it up.

The owner is holding the cooler for me, we just started our major plant outage this weekend (14-20 hour days) so I will not be able to pick up the cooler for about a month. I also found a westinghouse 42 in great shape for 300.00, I'll pick up both machines at the same time. terry

Dude! you are killing me!!!!!!!!!!! A 42 and a rare DP for under a grand.....
I gotta get out of Missouri ...I hear things are SUPPOSE to be higher on the Coast...
Heck they are giving them away!!!!!
If that Dr Pepper is what I think it is.... you scored!
I look at it like this.... we're all hunters....
If that DP was a deer... It would put you in the Boone and Crocket Record books....
And a 42!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

WAY 2 GO!!!!!!
