I wonder how many 102's exist? I personally have seen two of them.

Wasn't there a story that one side was for black people, the other side for whites? Or was it just that, a story.

I believe that was a notation in one of Jeffs books. Not sure if was substantiated.

Rare yes, but surprised how much they bring in. The Cavalier 51 is not the most sought after machine as it's rather plain and just not every exciting, this is just 2 of them. Haha. It's also a hard machine to display as it takes room because it's a walk around machine, can't really put it against a wall. I buddy of mine had one for years and I tried to sell it for him a couple of times. It was perfectly restored and he wanted around $12,000 for it, no takers. He ended up selling it with his collection.

They are cool, and yes difficult to display. I almost owned one once but it went over 10k in 1999 (unrestored but really decent) when you could pick up an RC 81 for less than that.
Right about the same time all of the rare Orange Crush and Frostie RB 81's started popping up ( wink wink ) and the machine market started turning into a small Peyton Place.

Really interesting machines I have seen 3 in person before. I would like to own one someday. I have a friend with one and have been working on him to sell it to me. Who knows maybe one day.
