Well I had to sweat it out a night after talking to the owner on the phone since she couldn't meet up yesterday, but I was able to pick up the Mills Bursting Cherry slot machine today.  I saw it listed on CL about 2 hours after and I figured I had no chance at the price it was at, but I ended up being the first caller.  She told me she had calls all night and talked to each of them, people offering large amounts more than I paid, but she was good to her word.  Really satisfying to meet people like that these days.

I got it home and it didn't have a coin jam like was advertised, but there was a big broken spring in the back.  After some tinkering and familiarizing myself with how it worked, I was able to figure out where the spring went and voila, works like a charm!  Everything is in original condition, one minor paint touch up but that's it.  Really cool to see it in action.

Looks like you're missing the coin box - unless it is not pictured?
I have a Mills Black Beauty, which looks very similar inside. Bet the coin box is pretty standard!
My kids and their friends have a lot of fun with it.

Is that what goes in the rectangular slot at the bottom right?  That would explain all the coins at the bottom of the machine when I got it.  I'm sure I can have that fab'd up pretty easily

Maybe a Vendo Coin Changer coin box will work?

Turns out they sell repro's, so I ordered one, not a part you see so I'm not concerned with it being new.  Thanks for the heads up Tom, I was already thinking of getting in and trying to adjust so the coins would stop falling through, saved me some time since they are supposed to!

I have the dime version of the same machine.  Amazing how heavy they are!  Still looking for a stand for mine so right now it sits on the corner of my desk.
