Got this rowe cigarette machine last week, I can't find another just like it on the web wondering if anyone had any idea as to value, I think its pretty cool, has two coin dispensers, one for the cigarettes and one for gum on the other side...

Sorry, can't help on your machines value,  but Leonard is picking up this 1930's Rowe machine for me this weekend.  Any idea on my red machines value is appreciated also.

PS...Sorry to hijack your thread!

Wow guys ! I love both of those machines !!!!!!!

Prices seem to vary quite a bit with cig machines .

I bought a few different cig machines about a year ago in similar condition.
Paid $800 to $1100 range, but that was a few years ago.

almost impossible to get parts for those so I usually make sure they are complete.

Nice score guys !!!!!!!

Leonard picked the red one up for me. Said the tag on it says DuGrenier, not Rowe.

Seller said he heard it was from the Empire State building.

Thanks for the assistance picking it up Leonard and taking pics, which I will post soon.

dugrenier made some nice machines, like it...

So the previous owner drilled out the lock but he said it just fell into the machine and the door still doesn't open.  I tried poking around in there but can't seem to release the lock. Anybody have any ideas on how I might be able to get it open? definitely not gonna pry the door, would be a shame

It was a Rowe Diplomat.  It had a clock though built into the mirror of the door!

well got it open, good news is that the racks and main coin mech is present and functioning, the bad news is that the gum dispenser and mech is gone, there were a couple screws put in where someone would have put in a coin for the gum and also one to keep the pull handle in place, I have a feeling it was removed while the machine was still in service,

anyway, gonna put this up on ebay tomorrow if anyone is interested...

I'm gonna' hijack this thread as well!   laugh

New to these but we painted up this pastry machine. Had a lot of fun designing it but now it has to go.......

Too bad most of you are so far away, shipping is always a killer but I can work someone a great deal outside E-bay.
