Joey,
Does the "pointer" on top slide right & left to make a selection?
What is the lettering along the top panel?
Does it appear to be complete, because I do not see any type of vending shelf/column...?
I do not see how it vends... The coin slide appears to be blocked off as well...
The product retrieval tray area looks quite narrow; no idea on vending product...
Interesting piece none the less...

I'm guessing it vended coins as it looks like a cash register!
Seriously, no idea...but it looks cool!

I found reference to Rushhour candy vending machines in a Billboard magazine and there was one sold on ebay in 2013 but no pictures are available on the auction any more.

What I found interesting is it it appears Rush Hour Company was eventually purchase by the owner of U-select-it back in 1933.
"John W. Coan (about 1893-May 19, 1961) was working in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1923 where he opened a small vending machine company that was wiped out in 1929 early in the Depression. In 1933 he bought a Madison vending machine company, the Rush Hour Company, and renamed it Coan Manufacturing Co. whose products were sold under the U-Select-It brand name."
