Hi I have just started lookin at a Glasco GBV 50 and I got a couple questions.

First is there an evaporator fan in the unit? I cant find it if there is. I noted the wire going up into the back of the cabinet I was thinking this feed the coin op. The other question is what does that little black button do on the back top left hand side of the cabinet under the lid. i thank you in advance for your help . cheers.... btw this sucker still runs on oem compressor '59 they sure don't make stuff like this anymore

       Yes there is a small fan behind the box that is in the lower cabinet. The button stops the fan once the lid is opened.

       You can eliminate both and the machine will still cool fine.

Thanks for your reply Glen I pulled out the pre cool bin and found the plug to which the evap fan should be tied too but alas there is no fan guess she's already bypassed for me lol, and yes I checked with a meter when you lift the lid the switch opens the circuit
