I am having a very hard time finding paint listed in the color codes.
I have been told that the auto shops around here are moving away from the acrylic enamel.
What else is there out there to use???
One paint and glass business I spoke to can get a substitute for 40.00 a quart. Cant guarentee it would be what I'd need.

I think they are going to use Urethane Paint. But I am not sure
about this.

Red and white Dupont centari acrylic enamel.
May just go with Funtronics and order the spray
cans and only paint the "wood grain" part of my machine.
Planning on removing all of that wood grain when it warms
up a bit outside.

I used to use Dupont Centari a fews years back. I use PPG Concept, It is expensive but well worth the money. The shine is awesome. The red is called Vermillion red.

Is it a one-step process? The paint and glass company advised to
get one with the clear coat added. Plus I'm thinking about doing it
my self with a sprayer.

Yes, PPG concept is a single stage paint. you have to add reducer and DU5 hardener. Believe it or not, the shine is better than using clear. I buy it by the gallon, much cheaper that way.

Yea when Josh told me his painter used( such and such) Its a single stage point and I would say that those jobs looked great. Thats what Im using. Its easier, quicker and just like orig paint jobs. Also Jas, If you intend to do it yoursself you will have to get a large air compressor not the small 10 galllon Homedepot ones and not a wagner etc. Have fun  '>

Make sure you always have enough air supply when painting to get the proper paint atomization, if not you can get runs, orange peel,etc.
