By the way, The Red Rockers opened up for them. Who?? Exactly. Too bad it wasn't the red rocker Sammy Hagar. I saw him opening up for the Scorpions Love Drive tour, same era at the Aragon Ballroom. That was my second favorite show, or maybe a tie for first. Sammy played four or five encores. The Scorpions kept letting Hagar come out for more encores, so in turn the Scorpions played all their awesome older songs, plus most of Love Drive.

Huge U2 fan from way back (Ed and I have talked at length) - went through 3 copies of Live Under A Blood Red Sky in my Walkman back in... What 1985? Thank goodness "The Wall" had a lifetime guarantee!
Finally saw them live during rehearsal for the Zoo TV tour. They practiced at Hersheypark stadium and semi-last minute decided to do a show to test their stage show live. It was awesome. They played their set list for the tour plus a bunch of older stuff that Bono said they don't really play live any more. Sunday Bloody Sunday, I Will Follow, New Years Day, etc. My buddy and I were in the 2nd row center.
Larry - Red Rockers had a great hit called China. Still hear it often on satellite radio.
