Vending Machine Patent Artwork

I have been thinking of some artwork for my new place and had seen some old patent prints framed up that looked pretty cool.  That got me thinking of vending machine patents that would look good with some of my collection.  I was able to find a few of them, there are a bunch out there, a lot of neat stuff patented by the Vendo Co. and different things like that.

Interesting. The patents have individuals named as "Inventor".  I'm not a lawyer, but I thought these were "works for hire" which would mean the their employer owned the patent.

Pixel - remember these are from the 1940's.   I'm sure legal precedent over copyright and intellectual property has changed a lot in the decades since they were submitted.

The patents almost always list the inventor or designer by name, and assign to the bigger company.

That makes sense. That's what I get for not reading all the documents.

I love how some machines changed from their original patents.  This was what a Popperette was suppose to look like.
