I see what you mean about the letters not being as crisp. Anyone know what gauge metal they used?

I bet somebody got this and thought "I don't really want to mess with putting it in a machine." Or maybe "If I put it in a machine I might get busted. I'll try to sell it as an OEM one-off instead."

What an unbelievable wealth of knowledge on this site, thanks Johnie!  I was trying to figure out what machine it was cut out of originally, but seems like the smaller embossing is mostly "Best by Taste Test" vs. "Better Taste Calls for RC". 

I bet he'd be pretty upset to learn what he's got, though I doubt anyone is paying that price for a panel
