I have a Cavalier 64 Model USS-8-64K-DP and I need the glass cover and hardware that goes over the door light (see picture) Any suggestions to where I can get this or what the part is?

Mine didn't have one, so I didn't know you needed one.  Are you sure something is supposed to go there?

if its just the glass you need, I'm sure you can get what you need cut at your local glass shop... they usually just slide in place.

All the ones that I have had are a piece of 1/8" plexi, held in the center with a U-shaped clip that slides under the screws on the front and back of the door frame.

My CSS-64 has a door light, but not it's not fluorescent. I'm guessing it's a candelabra or night-light (E12?) socket, because night-light bulbs fit in and light up. It's mounted into a recess in the top of the opening behind the door. I'm betting it uses 120VAC straight up to light the bulb.

Do any of the USS-64 use this type of incandescent door light?

My USS-96 has two piece of glass and when one broke, I took the other to the hardware store and they cut me a replacement piece.

Here's photo of the one that's on my USS machine, this one is a frosted piece of plexi, you can see the retaining clip as well.

All of the USS machines I have had have the fluorescent bulbs, and the CSS machines have the small incandescent in the top.  Way better light out of the USS machines, but the incandescent does the job as well.
