You'll Like It (aka Gold Medal) Popcorn Warmer Globe

Does anyone have an original You'll Like It popcorn vendor globe that they would consider loaning me?  I may have found someone to reproduce them for me, but I'm thinking we will need an original to get exact measurements.  My machine has a home-made globe that I'm sure isn't close to specs.

If you have one that you'd be willing to loan me, please let me know via PM or email to jholmgren at gmail dot com. 

Of course I would pay for shipping both ways and promise it would be well looked after or if you are anywhere close to PA, I could come pick it up.

You may check some ebay listings to see if you can find another one as a donor?  They they "POP" up (haha) quite often.

The Popcorn Sez globe and the Gold Medal globes may not be the same exact sizes?  Perhaps measurements of the (2) globes might help answer that question?   Also you might check google patents to see if you can do a patent search for any information on the machine.  You may even call Gold Medal they are still in business you would be surprised sometimes what they have laying around in there warehouse??  I did that with some old (30) year old car parts for an 82 Subaru.  Found all sorts of stock OEM parts same with a late 60's Pepsi Machine made by Dixie Narco, now Crane MMS.

I think the Gold Medal is different than the Popcorn Sez.  The decals "You'll Like It" was something that Popcorn Sez had put on the machines for advertising. . .  I may be incorrect?

A lot of Popcorn talk lately, maybe a few experts can chime in??
