Seeburg R data plate serial number?

Thanks to Mavin , I just picked his nice original  Seeburg R . It is missing the I.D plate. I can get a new one from Victory glass. My question is should the serial # on the I.D tag match the Serial # on the amp , the receiver and/or mech frame?

Thanks, that's what I figured . I've had 2 other R's and just never paid attention to the serial numbers.
