Have you seen the machines and the extras to know the condition and completeness of everything...? To me, this would dictate the negotiating price... If the 81s are complete and in decent shape, then your price is fair but he may want more because of the extra machines; eventhough to you and me, they really aren't worth much with the exception of the V-39. Than again, deals like this always have some hidden little gem in the parts department... Especially for someone that has be restoring for 20+ years.
Keep us posted...

Very tempting! If those 81 are any good at all 2 grand would be a steel... I'd call some of these restoration places and see what they get for parts! A 39 drum nice and straight would bring $200 easy on eBay. I parted out a 39 completey came out $150 and still kept the drum! Hinges, liners.... someone somewhere will need those parts. Good luck and yeah keep us posted. I'll do the same with the 2 v-23s.

Glen, you will have to get back with us on this deal that going on It sound very interesting. Moday at noon I have to go out and look at a Coca Cola Cooler in a basement that has been down there for 20 yr. That what the old gal told me. we talked about her insurance needs for her home then she told me about all the junk in her basement that her deceased husband had and that darn coke cooler was going to be the hardest thing to get out. so needless to say I'm going out there to have her sign the paper work and then I'm going to look at this Coca Cola Cooler. And I will let you know Monday night. Pat '> P.S. GOOOO PATRIOTS .

where in general is the deal located. I am not trying to steal the deal but If this will help you with the price depending on price and completeness I might want to buy the 23's from you.

I have seen the 81's last year when we bought some stuff from him. They are sitting in his back yard in direct sunlight and are completely colorless. He wanted quite a bit of money then. Also parts everywhere. The 23's 144's 39 and 59 have been protected in storage, and I have'nt seen them. (Why not the 81's) He had 3 Vendo 23's. My friend bought the nice Deluxe 23 for $300. If you want the two 23's, when I ship them to you I will include 2 more 23's that have enough parts for 1. Then if you buy the 2 in your area........

How much would you want for the 23's and how much do you think shipping would be to 45140 Cincinnati Ohio?
