I was curious to how rare these are? I picked three of them up recently and think they are really neat. I don't normally collect cans, just machines & signs. I couldn't pass on what I paid for them verses what they sold for on eBay. I couldn't get a picture to attach so i copied a link to the same cans I have.

If they are in good shape you can get a good bit for them.  Use the ebay advanced search and see what they are selling for now.  One in very good condition usually can go as high as $75-$100.

I looked at the past auctions and most of the unopened cans had sold for just over $200, only one other had sold for less for some reason. I'm hoping to sell 2 of them and keep one for my collection of Dr Pepper stuff. One guy quotes the can value at $350-400 per Dave Tanners Collectible Soda Cans book, but I have not been able to confirm that nor assume it is close to being correct. I purchased 3 in hopes of selling them to cover the cost of my one to keep, but now i'm thinking of just keeping all 3. I paid $100 each for them from a guy who's father in law passed and had approx 20 unopened cans including a few pristine cans in the original paper 6 pack holders, but he will not let those go.

Wow  jawdrop
My wife rips me a new one when I spend 1400 on a machine..... can't imagine the new opening I would get if I spent that much on a pop can.

Interesting can though!

Even though that is the most common Dr Pepper cone top can you got those at a good price assuming they are in nice condition without rust. Dave Tanner is a friend of mine and his book lists them at $200 - $250 which is what they usually go for. I have seen a few on ebay go for more and others a little less.
