Ok guys, question...
I was wondering what a Mills 47B would be valued at.
The machine is complete, has been repainted at some point, (not restored)
I know a picture is worth 1000 words, but unfortunately I don't have any pics yet.
Even if u could give me a rough idea. Someone contacted me to sell me their machine, and that is not a machine I have ever dealt with.

Thanks. Shane

Well I can say from experience that this is one awesome machine weighing over 500LBS. The market is limited for sure. I have the 47N version which has the compressor on the top as where the 47B has it on the bottom. The conveyor system is the same. I posted a link of the conveyor on youtube below (not mine). There is always a price but there are so few of these its tuff to say. I did find one that sold on a auction site it was a good complete original condition for 2500.00 if my mind serves me correct.

When I purchased mine it was in need of repair. I did the restoration of the conveyor and wiring and found it to be an awesome experience. It is a marvel of its time. It does not use a manual lever to dispense the bottle it is automated. If you do decide to purchase it I will be able to walk you through that part. Coinopgullwing has a 47B and I'm sure will be willing to help also.

I say if you have the opportunity do it. If you don't. Send his number my way. Hehe. I also sent a PM
Good Luck Seth

oh   That is damn near the coolest thing I've seen in a long time.  If I had one and repaired it, I think I would want to leave it just like that.   Cool

Thanks for sharing!

I paid $1500 for my 47B back in 2000-01. I had an offer of 3,000 before I had it shipped. I had it shipped from New Jersey to Kansas. The machine was found in closed shoe factory in Maine. The building was set for demolition. To have the machine shipped it rode in semi truck, then by airplane and back to semi truck.  How many coke machine have air travel time? My 47B is in good condition it was converted to 10c vend. I have found an original coin mech,, and base plate. Still needing cover and coin box.

That video is awesome. I have always wondered how a 47 worked. I have seen the insides of a Vendo Decapper and would love to see a video of one of those in operation.
