My wife talked me in to eating a Cracker Barrel today for lunch and found they had a nice selection of glass bottles.

I'm wondering the same. We don't like CB, but might check out the store if I'm near one.

Cracker Barrel we go to has decent food. Glass bottles were 4 for $4.44 on the shelf, Cokes were $1.09 each out of a restored ice cooler. I keep thinking I'm going to get one, but I drink so much Coca Cola with a meal I'm never brave enough to get one.

Pretty sure that's a replica cooler Pixel, way too many CB's around to have original restored coolers in every one.  There's a whole industry around repop'ing old signs and stuff for restaurants and bars.

Prices were about the same Pixel mentioned and guess I'll mention since it was brought up,,,we like CB and Jim is correct, replica cooler. Just thought I'd post for some of those out there who don't have access to anything more than Coke, Orange Crush and IBC. So everyone will know,,I bought the 4 pack of Nugrape. Yes,,did spend the 4+ bucks for 4.

Nugrape was my mother's favorite grape drink when it was widely available. I'd thought about trying one of those too at the Barrel.

I didn't know every Cracker Barrel had one of those coolers, so I wasn't really thinking "replica". Those replica aren't cheap for what they are.

No,,those coolers aren't cheap. I'm working on Pepsi one down the street in a service station. Made really well and thought it'd be good out on the patio for gatherings. Won't have to worry about anyone destroying it.

Those prices are pretty steep compared to $16/case of 24 at a lot of the distributers. I pay $16/cs for Nehi, A&W and Mt.Dew all with cane sugar.

Cracker Barrel is likely angling for sort of a souvenir shop aspect, which isn't going to be cheap. Glass bottles are seldom cheap in small quantities anyway.

When you say "distributors", do you mean someone in the middle of the supply chain, or more like Sam's Club?
