CHICAGO SHOW FALL 2013 ROLL CALL

I heard back from Janet and Rod from Funtonics and they Graciously reserved the "VIP" room at Portillos once again for us.. THANK YOU FUNTRONICS!!!

so we'll plan on having our annual SMC Bash once again at Portillos (located next block down from Pheasant run for any newcomers)..

we usually meet up around 6 or so.. Food is great and the company even better!  (oh yea the beer comes in frosted Mugs too)

Plus this year our SMC Founder, and all around great guy Jim Beschen will be there .. so looking forward to seeing him there this year!

 I wont be making it this year  sold our home and we close on our new home on the Nov 1st     Get to build a new shop  .
 So I will be planning  to do the spring show , please take a lot of pictures and share the great stories of the great finds.

Yeah, it's about 35 miles from me but it's all rush hour traffic at dinner time.  It takes me over an hour to get there.  Friday morning is a lot easier to get to, time wise, but I don't have any money to buy anything and I took a lot of days off of work working on the house so I have no time or money.  I did buy a few things this year already, but not soda related.  So my quota is met for the year.

My brother lives in North Chicago near Wrigley Field.  Hopefully in a few years he lives there and I can make it a long weekend!
