Anybody out there know about older safes?  I picked up a load of glass insulators locally last week and the guy has a Herring Hall Marvin safe, about a 1.5' cube, that's in pretty good shape.  Lock works and he opened it up, there's a lockbox inside with a couple of shelves.  He was looking for about $170 for it, but offered a trade for a couple of my lamps.  I don't have any photos, but was curious if anyone out there had some personal experience with these.

Just found this one on live auctioneers. It sold for $500.00. Size is 19x21x28. Not sure if this helps.

I think that's a great price for those small safes... any smaller safe I've found and I've been looking.. are way over 300-500 or more.

you go to Chicago show and those small ones are 500+ unrestored and restored Thousands...

I'd love to have one too, think they are cool .. your good at 170 !

That is a great price at $170.  It is even better if you can trade your lamps for it.

Snag that. Great price.
Score any aqua marine or purple insulators? Like those.
Hope the trade works out.
