Erie Gas Pump

Chaps
Have already posted this again on Old Gas but thought I'd try here too. A smaller and friendlier site might get a better response.
I have had a US Erie 70 Gas pump for a couple of years taking up space in the garage. I bought it minus the metal top that holds all the panels together
thinking I could easily pick one up. Have searched Ebay ever since without success.
If anyone has one or knows anyone who has one for sale. New or old please let me know. Its the metal top not the glass top. Would like the glass top too
but need the metal first.
Thanks
Dave

I had a Erie 70 a few months ago, neat pump but nothing is really reproduced for them. As for the metal top they are out there but most are still on the pumps and for some reason it is a pump that is rarely parted out.
On the glass top I think you would have better luck winning the lottery, I know people that have been looking for 15+ years for one they are extremely rare ad very pricey when they do come up for sale. $2,500-3,000 +
There were "plastic" glass tops repopped about a year ago they sold for $250-300 and sold out very quickly.

Thanks Joey..
May have to try and get it reproduced. I can see that lots of people need the part and that it was reproduced at one time but of course sold out before I got there.

Hello Jeff
thanks for the info. Unfortunately before I get the glass I need the metal frame.

This may be your last and only chance of getting that top Dave. The metal top will show up sometime but that deco glass glass I mean plastic top. Will probably never happen again.

Hi Joey
I actually have a very nice globe for the top of the pump so will pass on the glass top. Just need that metal frame to get it all together before I invest a fortune restoring it.
