I use Dupont Nason arylic emamel. I don't generally don't strip my machines if they are not rusty. Then we do any body work that is needed and prime and paint. I don't do my own body work or paint. I have a guy here in daytona Beach that does a great job. If anyone is local and needs a machine painted he does great work and is extremely resonable. I unfortunately have to find someone new to paint my machines as I am moving to Cincinnatti Oh tomorrow. I am delivering these machines along the way. Now aren't I nice. I am meeting the buyer half way with his machines for free since I am going there already. Greenja Is the lucky new owner of these two machines. I can't wait for him to see them tomorrow.

Well I am back home in Ohio and in my four years living in Florida I have forgotten how cold it is here. The new owner of the two machines seemed to be really happy with them when I droped them off.

Nice job on the square tops!! I am currently restoring one for a client. The machine is a V56. I am going to be adding a light up Coca-cola sign. It originally was just painted. I have a donor machine that I can rob the light components from. The question I for you is what did you use for the light panel? White plexiglass and apply decals? Transparent plexiglass with inside painted white? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Terry

I bought the light pannel from Funtronics. They repop them and they are really nice. I think it is $38 each. As for the light I just buy a small florecent light from the hardware store and take all of the components out of the plastic case and mount them into the machine. I then cut off the plug and direct wire it to the bottle door light if it has one.

Is that light up front on the Frosty machine a screen on
frosted plastic or a decal on frosted plastic. Looks great!
And if you don't mind how much was the decal set?....
I know of a ugly little Pepsi Square top begging to be a
Frosty machine. '>
