If that is going to be an inside the house or covered porch machine you are golden. Really do not want to compress whatever insulation is used. Defeats the purpose.
Sitting out in the elements I'd beef the door seals. Don't want that R16 Denim getting wet.
Great looking restore so far. Thanks for the pics!!

I switched out the denim this morning to R19 fiberglass. I just wasn't comfortable with the compression of the denim as it was really hard to get the liner in and it pushed the back out slightly. Way easier to slide the liner in once I changed to fiberglass and they are both R19 so same R value. Only took about 45 minutes to make the swap. The tape trick really works well. I think the 1/2" foam should help a little bit with R value and was cheap and easy to do. Moral of the story don't use denim. Cheers, Jeff

Just as well, anything organic in contact with a cold condensation environment will certainly breed mold & mildew.

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

For those who do not know Tom and also those who do, here is my coin mech after he performed his magic. Working on finishing up the door assembly. Then got to get the sign painter in to do the lettering. Cheers, Jeff
