Never got around to posting some pics of the 56 I picked up a few months ago.

This machine was purchased from the grandkids of the original owner, where the machine was in a NY city hardware store it's entire operating life.  It was then moved to the Grandkids home.  Hurricane Sandy caused damage to the son of the owners deck, and so needing cash to fix it, they decided to sell the machine that was just sitting in the crawl space of their NJ home.

I used FLITZ to give the machine a good cleaning, and boy oh boy does that stuff work well!!!

This machine I am keeping.

That a beautifully machine, great find,  it's in my top 3 machines to own one day, if I can only stop buying every v39 vmc27 and v44 that I see, I might be able up enough to afford one some day !

Looks great!  I really like the two tone blues on the Jacobs, nice touch.  Did you use the Flitz on the paint too?  I picked up a bottle at my local Ace the other day.

The Jacob's 56 is one of the best looking machines. I love the original colors.

You can use the Flitz on the entire paint job and it truly works wonders!  That is a nice Jacobs, I wish that one in NJ had the coin rejector and I would have been on my way up.
