Does anyone own a Rowe stick gum machine (blue 1c) or the pack machine (green 5c)?

The top one is a stick machine, which is pretty cool.  I haven't seen too many varieties of individual stick gum machines.  Plenty of the square tab gum machines like in a Stoner or Mills.  I own the top one.

I'm buying the bottom one, not that machine, mine is more beat up.  Just wondering if the plungers on the 5c machine are stiff or do they have play in them.  The one I'm looking at has play.

The stick machine usually has just flat stick gum holders.  Mine was missing one so I bought another machine with busted knobs, but when I opened it up it had the square tab gum dispensers inside.  The tab ones are a neat design because it dispenses from the left side, then from the right side, off of the same column.

Just wondering if anyone had a 1c and if they had flat or tab gum dispensers in them.  They are interchangable.

I picked up the gum machine and it is a Canteen version.  I actually like the recessed Canteen in the top section of the trim.

Larry,
Funny how fast the crowd picks up the scent of a Canteen and start to circle.
Great find and enjoy it for many years !!
It would look the best next to my 5 push Canteen however. Vulture #4 :-)

I have the odd combination gum and cigar vendor on the original base. Cigar vendor was filled with unopened packs. 5 for 25 cents. Gum machine product didn't fare as well. The mice had a field day with the gum.

The plungers on mine have some resistance when pushing down. Not real stiff, not real loose.

Very cool.  I never saw a stand for the gum machine before.  I have a Cigaromat with the stand.  Gum and chocolate cigars work well with them.  Mice would probably love them too. laugh  My friend had a similar cigar machine like yours that dispensed packages.  His was a Tipparllo machine.
