I have these bottle door meddallions out of Vendo 81 Coke machines... these where just too far gone for me to attempt to clean them up and reuse them... Generally I can get them cleaned up pretty good and then polish them up and reuse them.
anyone out there really good at restoring these.. most have cracks in the plastic... so not sure if restorable or not..

any ideas? are they worth anything to anyone? or maybe I should just glue them to the wall for decor?

John,

I did my best to "restore"  my medallion.  The plastic was in decent shape but the gold paint on the lettering was peeling in a lot of places.  I cleaned up the plastic and tried to repaint the lettering but it looked horrible.  The coloring did not match at all so I cleaned out all the old gold paint and redid it completely.  Turned out decent.  I'll be curious to see how it holds up
