I went to see this machine for sale locally today. This is a Cavalier CC4-132G, serial no. 539245. The cooling system is model CAV-777C and serial no. 102251. I'm attaching a pic.

Does anyone have a cross reference on what Cav models I could get a replacement cooling system (used, cheap)? Otherwise if I don't have a lead I will not be picking it up (the machine).

This is an interesting can vendor with the four motors to release the can and the evaporator is up high in the back. I spoke w/Josh Loman earlier about it - guess what Josh, the evaporator is there, dual fans worked but like you mentioned I couldn't get the four vend motors to move (by putting coins in and selecting a soda, also tried switching the coin mech to manual, no luck). Is this a true indicator that all four motors would not work?

I realize this is only a late 60-early 70's machine and has little collector value but interested in getting a project, and can machine.

you'll first have to load the machine with at least five cans per stack/column, or defeat the "sold-out" switches in order to enable a vend on any of the four columns.

Thanks JohnieG. I did see the arms in each chute and tried to hold them down while I pressed one of the selections. My arms were not long enough.

I contacted Eric at Gloal compressors for good info. on what it might take to refurb the cooling system.
