Howdy Leonard,

Had great fun doing the "Dillinger" back when one could afford ammo:-).
Blasting a 45 in each hand. Couldn't hit a barn from inside one but sure was fun.

Wow!!  Having shot 45's, 44 Mags and even a 500 once.  I cant imagine the recoil on that thing, it would have to be a lower powder weight.  If that hit you in the chest even with body armour I believe it would stop your heart.

Seems like it might be one of those kills in front cripples behind.   The one time I shot the 500 once was enough and I said never again.  I have the 44 mag that I only very little simply because of the recoil....

If you really want a nice 45 look at this web site.  I have one of their 45's and they are simply unbelieveable in weight, grip and precision.

Thanks not real familar with the Walters but you really have some nice pistol's there.

The Wilson 1911 is more of a competion type pistol but I like the weight of it weighs 42 ounces loaded and is an easy carry weapon...

Kimbers are Nice .But I Shot !!! Everyone i know that has a Kimber or Springfields and others don't go out and shot hundreds of rounds threw them .

My Interarms Star PD Weighs 25 oz empty So im guessing with the Mag Loaded 6 Rounds no more the 35 oz Its Light .
I bought it used from my brother inlaw  .He fired it a Lot .  and In in the Year I've Owened it I'V fired over 500 rounds threw it and the Biggiest problem is i have to replace the buffer recoil pad every 1000 rounds   Its Fun to shot but Small for my Big Hands .
I already had the Slide Rip the Meat of my Thumb Knuckel Once not be carefull

I'just Like To Shot !! I have ARs & SKS And a couple other things but i just like shotting

I agree, I dont shoot as much as I did when I was on the state police pistol team but it is still fun.  I am not into the AR's and stuff,  I just like what fits my hands and arm lenght.  These people that go out and buy the fully auto's are not shooting for fun IMO, I have shot them and you can not hold them steady to be accurate suppression is about the only thing you can accomplish with them.  The price of the ammo is getting to the point that it is an expensive hobby just to empty a clip in a couple of seconds..

Hey,Aspbear

Ya. I understand a bout the full auto . It was fun to shot in the army .when I was in I Qualified Expert in shooting the 50 cal / 60 cal MachineGun M16 / 45  & 45 Burp I also took some training in the 270 Remington &30-06

Mine are semi- autos and my AR-15s are the same as I fired in 79 there full stock & long barrel
Vietnam style triangle hand guards . I DO not put them in the same category as the shorter Models as the Bushman & DPM and others .  I do have the larger clips 30 round but i only load 23-25 in them if i use them . and I've been Videoed firing 20 rounds in 10 sec . But then my finger gets tired . LOL  but I mainly use a 20 round colt mag  normally only loading 15 rounds in them shooting at cans and targets .it was cheaper to shoot them then .Hell I have 3 22cal and I can't shoot them now because its impossible to locate rounds for them I bought in the beginning of Jan 1400 rounds --$62.00 same bucket of rounds now $200 + crazy money

On the Walter .You know ? I've never checked the numbers .Got it from my father In law .he was in the Koran war . But never asked him about it .I just received it 5-6 month ago when my Wife found it in his house after cleaning it out after he's had to go in a home .

Yes ammo has gone through the roof.  I have been buying it at auctions when I get the chance,  we go to auctions every weekend but now even at auctions ammo is going for crazy prices...But I agree it is fun to just shoot a few rounds,  I have a Mini 14 that I shoot just for fun but again the ammo is crazy prices...

6 months ago I was picking up 223 ammo at my local Walmart for $4.50 for a 20rd box. Now you can't find it and if you do be prepared to spend a lot of money for it. Good thing I stocked up before the prices went crazy.

Just watched the video, interesting, but it has been proven when messing with Browning's original design, it eventually fails, we shall see, nice concept though.  I have a springfield professional model, have easily put over 30k plus rounds through it with no problems. Kimber and Wilson's are nice as well.  Just MHO

I do like the grip on the 1911,  when we got the first Glock's after have Sig's I thought it felt like I was trying to grip a 2X4 finally got used to it but I could not see how people with small hands could ever grip the Glock 21..When in doubt use the 12 gauge.

Doubt the dual 45 will go anywhere. Same for the 44 semi auto. Interesting canons but not practical.
I've got big hands so never had any worries with grips.
1911 is the cats meow. Thinking time to get another. Nothing like the boom of a 45. Short of the 12 guage :-)

My favorite shotgun is the Remington pump 870.  The simple act of racking the pump on an 870 will calm most situations.   I remember back in the late 70's we were sent into a prison riot located in the cafeteria.  The commander told each one of us (about 40) to Pump are 870's as we entered the cafeteria by the time all were in place you could have heard a pin drop...
