 I think I saw a 4-wire switch at Menards in their specialty devices section.  I remember thinking that I wish I would have seen them when I was redoing my 81D.  Since I didn't need one at the time I didn't look too closely but I recall it having 2 black and 2 blue wires which it what my original switch had.  I'll try to stop by and see if my memory is correct or if I was just not paying close enough attention. |

 Ok I'm confused. I got some new ballast from Funtronics bit says preheat start. So do I need to wire in a starter on this assembly then. And where do I put it and what size do I need? |

 No, "pre-heat" is just the type of ballast it is, it may be used in any pre-heat circuit with a starter or 4-wire switch, just wire it like I showed you in the 4-wire switch diagram. |

 Ok so it i don't use a 4 wire switch. And just a two wire  is a starter required  |
