Did I get this machine right?

My wife wants a Pepsi machine and this one is 2 hours away and the ad says all original and working for $850.  Sounds like a fair starting point, hopefully it hasnt sold and they are negotiable.

Yep, it's an 88, looks to be in decent original condition, but I'd make sure to get some photos of the side/back to check for beltline rust.

That looks heavy !!
They are not that bad to move around, same size approx to an 81.. there is more steel in them in the vending rack so it is a bit more heavy but not bad ...

$850 is a great starting point on that machine, Ive sold them in worse shape for $950.00 in the past.

Great deal in my opinion!

It's always nice when wives want a soda machine. Plus nice she didn't ask for a 81, Pepsi 81's start at $3,500+. That is a nice 88. Love the nice big embossing on it. I'd pursue it for sure.

BUMMER!  That was a great looking machine.  I would have been interested in that also if it were in my area.  Sorry you didn't get it.

Sorry you didn't get it.  I am a Coke guy but I probably would have grabbed that if it popped up in my area.  Would have had to hide it from my wife and her family (Coke bottlers for 4 generations)!
