All,

This might be old news, but today on the History Channel there was a show called "Unscrewed".  The premise is there are 2 teams.  Each team has to tear down an identical item to reach a set number of parts, put it back together, and then see if it works.  The first team to do it wins.  During the competition, there is an expert on the machine present who can be asked 1 question by each team.  The expert also provides commentary to the host as the competition takes place.

The one I saw today went like this..  There were 2 Cavalier 96s, fully restored.  One was Coke and the other was Pepsi (the Pepsi one was a made up one, but a nice job done putting in the embossing).  Each team had to take the machine down to 500 parts (each screw counts) and then put it back together.  It was fun watching these guys mess with things we are very familiar with.  Alan Huffman was the expert for the show.

Just surfed my DVR for 2 weeks solid of programming ...no replays.

Read a thread on Vimeo that there our no replays from the producer of the show...sounds like it was a one hit wonder pilot episode...talk about crappy advertising,  and Saturday Noon ..( PST) sure most of the audience was watching college football!!

Here is the 3 minute trailer ..

I watched that episode today. I missed the first part and sat in horror watching the teams tear those beautiful machines apart.  Then the.y started reassembling and I relaxed

Pretty cool to watch them try to figure out the vend mechs.

Was cool to watch they had to break down the machine into at least 500 pieces then reassemble.
