Can anyone tell me anything about this? I picked it up today and the guy got it from an estate and knew nothing about it. I have never seen anything like it. It vends with 2 pennies and the sides light up. There are funny little cards (permits) inside that dispense.

Looking at the picture on the front....what would these cards permit you to do?

Hi Ya... Its an Exhibit Supply company card vendor. They came in all shapes and sizes throughout the 30's through to almost modern day.

I have a couple of counter top ones and a large floor one. Yours looks like it has the light up facility on either side.

They are very collectible and can fetch good money in the US. The cards are available all over eBay. Girlie types through to baseball
and boxing.

The permit variety that you have was just another slant on trying to get some money out of the purchaser. If you search you can find
some nice original cards to swap it back to another type of vending.

The two penny slide is the more desirable coin slide. Penny side by side.

Very nice. I wouldn't mind finding something like that myself.

I remember  the arcade @ Bob-lo island having one in the mid 60's. as i recall it dispensed comic licenses - get out school free, cand inspector, etc.

Very cool find

Here's another type... Look at the opening bid.
