Victory lap? Unless it's my machine which it is not I can care less what it sold for even though I'm surprised. Buyer has over 500 feedbacks so does seem legit.
Some people pay sticker price for a new car, others overpay for a Pepsi 88, go figure.
I have over 700 and I.... Um... well, Lets just say just because he is over 500 doesn't mean much more then he may know some tricks because he has been doing it a long time!
The better way to see if there is shill bidding going on... Look at his completed and the sold items in his feedback. If he seems to ALWAYS get premium money, flag. If he EVER re-lists the same item AFTER it sold, Flag. One flag, no big deal, more than one, RUN!
Ebay is a market and very easily manipulated. Its not an auction, if it were the last bid could not be timed. If someone put a bid in, then it should extend the real time auction to allow legitimate bidders to bid.
