Any Ideas where to get a 7 up decal (The fiftys style square Red/White/Black "7" with bubbles) in around a 12" square size???
All I can find are smaller ones for sale. Most of the main sources seem to be COKE happy...

I just bought a decal for the front of an Ideal 55 7-up machine from Funtronics that sounds like the dimensions you are looking for.
The paint shop had a little "oops" with the first one (someone scraped the machine after it was painted and it had to get repainted) but it looked really sharp and fit the embossing perfectly. I'll post a photo when it is finished this week.

What machine will you put it on?

It is going on a 1953 Ideal 55 Slider.

Mine is not embossed though.  It was made into a 7up.  After sanding it all down past the white paint I found the original color was the Royal crown yellow.
I thought about making it Royal crown, but I already have an S&S 700 cooler chest that is RC already. Then I thought maybe a nice Pepsi Blue??
But in the end I stuck with the 7up.

This is the first time I've heard about an Ideal 55 being dated. How do you know it's a 1953?

Small seriel number tag on left side of machine.  upper left corner has the serial number and if you look at the right angle you can see a "53" stamped into it.  Also while restoreing the coin
mech. 1953 was stamped on a number of the parts.  Thats my reasoning??
