Such a beautiful day today here in Michigan, I spent the afternoon trying to finish up some projects that have I've been running way behind on due to a crazy work schedule. so here's a V-81 deck I just finished up on for a customer.

Besides the cooling deck, the stand you built looks sweet. Is that a new work station or framework for a shipping crate? I like the notch in it for the copper lines.

Great job! And I do like the work stand/shipping crate (it could be either I guess). Gonna build one for the two decks I have to work on.

It's both, I built them out OSB & 2x3's as a working jig to position the lines & components for the respective machine the units going in & then secure the deck & evap' to the platform for transport if local, or pop it into a Heavy-duty cardboard box for shipping, or It's can be "boxed" up with wooden sides for long haul shipping, the UPS center loves it because it very sturdy, yes it adds a bit to he weight, but it protects the rebuilt deck & lines from shipping damage.

I have a similar crate, I added wheels to mine to wheel it out of the way while I am waiting to finish the rest of the project took about an hour to build, and has proved invaluable.  Nicely done.

This post inspired me a while back. I had a box made of plywood I didn't need, so I turned it on it's side and added casters. Then built the platform on top and a handy little shelf in the storage area.
It's great to be able to sit on a stool and work on a compressor.
