OK, I have another question for you guys that have been doing this a while. This is on the Lacrosse I am restoring for myself and not for resale. The cooler compartment, not sure if that is the correct term but it's where the bottle shelves are and all the cooling takes place, well it is a little dingy looking. I removed all the shelves and used a degreaser on them, scrubed and power washed them. Inside the cabinet itself I used degreaser and scrubed it. Is there anything else I can do to make it look better/newer? Painting, use a wire wheel on it?? Help..... darn

Paint it with hammertone paint. It will look good, cheaper than powder coating the tub, and it holds up well against the occasional bump and grind
