I also got a hit to Ricks Restorations website from the tv show, they have a restored one for sale for like $5K+? I emailed them asking if they had this part or make them, no reply..cuz of that stupid show now and all the FAN emails I bet they will never reply to me.

The Vwendo 23 had the round bottle holder - the junior was built by Westinghouse, Well the cabinet. Vendo added the spin top to them.

the acyrlic rack was made by the seller I bought my machine from. Someone was making the baskets in stainless a few years ago, I don't remember the price, I want to say a few hundred dollars.
The basket was/is 2 levels, and was hung from the back side (width) by 2 brackets.

Check out the restore threads, most members have cleaned up the compressors, and have them painted. I would think a hi temp paint would work fine.

You got me kitting that I need to get out there and finish  my junior.

And most of here collect and restore other stuff. So let's see some pics of your Vespa.

I'd love to sell one for $5,000. but the new cooler repro's have killed the market. Why pay 5K when i can one the same size, that will hold more than 23 bottles ( and only the 8 oz size)  for under 700?

If you are looking to make a big turnover after it's restored, I hate to say it prolly won't happen.  If you want a cool looking machine that doesn't take up a lot of space, then  by all means restore it.

No, I remember seeing it in the back of the truck in the picture. It was on CL for high price for a long time and then on ebay.

Just thought I would reply to this old thread. Maybe get some response regarding the reproduction stainless baskets for the Vendo Junior. Anybody have access to one or know who was reproducing them?

Here is my original basket. You should be able to use the grill on the lid as a template as the holes line up to vend.
There was also a pre-cool shelf to the left of the basket.
