Does anyone know the size and length of the cap tube in a ideal 55 slider

Capillary tube sizing is based on application & refrigerant, assuming you're using R12 of a suitable replacement follow the medium temperature selections on the following supplied by Supco... your Ideal 55 should have a 1/5 HP or possibly a 1/4HP pancake style compressor...you'd have to look up the compressor no. to be sure, or the spec plate if it's still on the machine or compressor deck itself.
