Evaporator coils freezing/frosting - unit not cooling

So I checked the drinks this morning and they were nice and cold.  Evaporator fan was running and compressor/condenser fan was off at the time.  I just got home from work and the compressor and both fans were running.  But, the drinks were not cold.  I opened up the unit and the evaporator coils are completely frosted over.  Any ideas what the problem might be?

The Evap' coil fins are plugged with frost/ice due to an air leak letting in too much humid air, this flow of warm air forces the T-stat to keep the compressor running, then you get a film of frost over the fins & it ( bad pun warning) snowballs from there   so shut off the T-stat, let it defrost & track down where the air leak is coming from.

Or it could be a stuck thermostat too.

I'll check the door seals to see if too much hot air is getting in.  Then I'll replace the thermostat if that doesn't' fix it.  Thanks johnie.
