Bazooka Joe

I had a couple of requests for another pic of the Bazooka Joe gum machine.
It was originally a 1954 Stoner gum machine. I decided to do a fantasy Bazooka Joe theme on it. It was
done by a local legendary pinstripe artist in the KC area named Bob Bond. His work is phenomenal. He is the "go to" guy when it comes to sign lettering, gold leaf, pinstriping, or artistry.
Check out his website at WWW.bobbondart.com.

Well I guess that is just something else I need to add to the list.
Here's a picture of my Bazooka Joe.. Not as impressive as yours but about the only machine in the house that gets emptied on a weekly basis...

Nice Bazooka Joe machine! I like Dave's too. Chewed a lot of that when I was growing up. EVen saved up enough comics to send off for a free pocket knife. Couldn't do that today!

Nice Machines.
I miss being able to get pocket knives and miniature lighters from the 25 cent gum machines. Those were the days.
