Question for the clock collectors
«

I came across a neon clock today. It is in very good condition with the exception of a few minor scratches on the clear plastic face. It is large; approximately 2 feet across. I cannot test it because it was hard-wired.
Although it is difficult to say without seeing it, is a fair value for it?

I found a link to a similar clock. It is the same company, but a slightly different style.
Is the estimated value stated on this link accurate?

Cool clock! Don't know anything about the value, but do you know if the wires are hanging out of the back of it? I'd buy a replacement appliance power cord from Home Depot, and bring a couple of wire nuts along. You should be able to connect it up quick and plug it in.

I would expect to see them go for 1500-2500, but it's a guesstimate, since they are usually out of my league

just like signs, condition is everything.. but they are usually high value as long as the marquee on the top is original (as they are repopped)...
I've seen them as low as 900 for rough condition, and as high as 2500-3000 for nice originals.
it's a Cleveland Neon Marquee sign.. make sure it works , its neon on the top marquee and a circle under the numbers...
