Cavalier 51, 2 for the price of 1

Guys, I scored 2 Cavalier 51s for $500 (250 each). Compressors don't work, but they are complete with ammo belt and all. There is also some rust near the bottom on the base. The rest isn't bad at all. I know not a lot of 51 fans on here, but I dig them. How'd I make out? I will post more pics once I get them home.

Both have the belts, that's pretty good I'd say.

The belts are worth that, maybe more alone...  then there's the mechs and crank handles, again good money
Someone here will know if those enterchange with Vendo models
Keep the best one or make one good one and sell the other off to help raise money
to finish the keeper.
I like the all red paint theme but the two tone looks better shape...
I also like the bottle door on the two tone better also...

Partial to the red myself too. It's gonna be a tough decision. But one is definitely getting flipped.

Not bad I saw one 3 hours from we for 800.  Not worth the drive at $ 4 a gallon.

not bad at all.. the mech on those is the same as a Vendo 39 mech.. so if you decide to part it out .that mech will be worth something to someone..

I always tell people of all my machines, I have my 51 at or near the top of my fav. list
I think you did well with that price.

Nice score.  You should be able to get one nice machine out of the two of them and part the rest.  I imagine that there are guys here looking for pieces.

I like the look of the 51.  There was one for sale here in Boston for a long time on Craigslist that looked super clean.  I wanted to go check it out, but I talked myself out of it; I don't have the room for any more machines.
