I'm looking for the coin box to fit my Cavalier USS-8-64, circa 1972. It has a box in there, but it's not the right one. It manages to dump the money out every time you open the coin door.
Thanks!

I have one maybe (it was ID'd as one by another member years ago). I have never owned a USS Cav machine, so can't confirm. Pic attached If it looks like what you need and you want more info (measurements, better pic, etc.), PM me.

I think the catcher just to the right of the Vendo catcher might be for a Cavalier. Mine measures 3.5" x 2.75" and has 0.25" flanges on the top. My USS machine also has three screw holes behind the coin catcher in the same configuration as the labeled USS coin bucket, so that should work too.

Thanks tkaz! 'bubba' ID'd these years ago. I do know that what he label V-56 cap catcher is actually a Westinghouse WB-60/78/102? cap catcher. It is also used in the WC-44SK. It is about 10" tall.
The one to the left of the mislabelled "Westy" and the tall one on the bottom right I do think are from Cav machines as they are similar to my Cav-55 cap catcher, but not the same measurements.

The tall one on the bottom looks like a CSS/USS cap catcher, mine measures 16.75" x 3.25" x 1.5"

The Uss-8-64 coin box measurements are 3 5/8" wide, 3" deep and 4 1/4" tall and looks a lot like the one on the upper right in Tom's picture.

Is it a metal box or plastic box? The plastic one that I have (labeled USS Cav Coin Bucket in the pic) measures 5.5"W x 3"D x 5"H

They made the USS 64 quite a few years so things might have changed but I just checked mine (1976 S/N) and I think that one of the two boxes at the right end of the top row in Tom's picture is the proper coin box. The item in the lower left looks like the correct cap catcher and the cav drip pan is correct. Here are the measurements of the items in my machine-may be off by an 1/8 as I need bifocals : Coin Box 4 1/4" High on side of box that faces out as you look at machine. This side has a knock out for a lock if necessary. 3" deep 3 1/2" wide 3 1/2" high on side of box that faces the machine The top of both sides are flanged so the box can slide onto the rails under the coin mech. Cap Catcher 16 1/2" high 2 3/4" wide on side that faces out as you look at the back of the door 3 1/4" on side that faces the back of the door 1 1/2" deep The sheet metal is tacked so that the side that faces the door hinge has a channel so the cap catcher will sit flush against the back of the door and fit around the screws sticking out of the door along the hinge line. The cap catcher rests on a small shelf that is mounted to the door. Hope this helps! Tim
