Here are a couple more. This was a better location for the show but the show could be advertised a little better. Pat is correct on the prices that the guy wanted for the crossing guards. He told me he found the Coca Cola one at a school auction in Tennessee. He said they actually had 3 more but they had all been run over by cars so he passed on them. He found the red one with the woman in Kentucky. From my discussion with him, he has had both for quite some time. He said that he is selling off some of the floor items to make room in his shop. There was a classic car show in the parking lot as well. A lot of nice cars from the 50's, 60's and early 70's but an older one caught my eye. If I had sold a few more items (like my boat, all my machines, my house . . . .) I would have been driving home in a nice white convertible! Thanks for putting everything together Pat! Good to hear johnie sold the Pepsi. I suspect that Pat will sell his Vernor's or at least get some work out of all of the cards that were picked up. Any luck selling that last slider Bob? Tim

Thanks for posting the pics guys! I enjoyed the show and afterword agreed to meet a guy from Chicago in Kalamazoo Michigan to buy my nicer Glasco GBV-50 slider (we met 1/2 way...2 hour drive, but hey, a sale is a sale!). He bought me lunch too at Crackerbarrel. Ironically, he did not want the great condition coin box or nice original rack that were in it, so I took I them off. I sold the coin mech last night for $250, so no big deal. If anybody needs an original rack with the intact coke refreshing stickers on it, let me know.
Although alot or people inquired about my other Glasco slider, still no sale. I plan on installing a replacement compressor fan on it, and a circulating air fan on it this week, as I noticed they weren't working.

I'd love to go to a show like this... Nothing similar here in the UK. One day, One day...

The Drive slowly sign is a boy. Or Melissa Etheridge. AAA i believe was distributing them, at least I've seen that face on AAA material. dates to the teens - 1920's

Kind of looked like Frau Blucher from Young Frankenstein to me! The seller said he had seen a couple in the past and that they were older than the Coke ones. Tim

I knew it! In the video, it doesn't look like there were many people at the auction part.
