So I'm watching American Restoration and he charged a guy $4800 to restore a u select it. I'm thinking that is a little high... I guess it was a shell, with no mech or base, but really?

And yes, I'm sure he found the entire mechanism at a flea market!!

When I watched I noticed he charged about 5 grand for everything... Boared with that show now...
still watch Pickers from time to time... But I noticed these 3 kids in my house so I spend time with them since the
weathers nice... and I bought a 1950 Studebaker...

Yes.. Favorite car... My DREAM car really... love the look... found it in Kansas thanks to a friend here at work.. hasn't been driven since 1959
was originally from New Mexico... a buddy is working on the motor now...
Neil, you need to move to Missouri for a few months!

I'll start another thread later.. sorry to steal from this one...

AWESOME looking car in my books!
Prior to having a kid I never would have noticed, but now when I see that front grille, I can see eyes, a mouth, and even a moustache!!  All thanks to Pixar Cars! lol
