Frost on suction

After I finally got my 35 slider cap tube changed because it was totally clogged it is cooling well ,cycling on and off. The only thing now is the suction line frost, I put right at 7oz of r12 in because the tag is missing from the old pancake what do you think a tad low or a tad high for the suction line to frost?
