Has anyone removed the stainless steel bezel on a ideal slider and if so how did you get it off Huh?Huh?Huh?

        If you mean the SS trim across the front / top...........no! It is welded on.

Are you talking about the stainless steel piece right in front of the lid ?  If that is what your talking about  then yes

The  S.S. across the front at the top is it only welded where the screw holes are? Huh?Huh?Huh?

The few that I've played with were not welded in just bolted in.

We sell new ones that go right over top the old ones, and are held in with the screws that hold your rubber in. I think the originals are welded in and would be very hard to get off. You can go to our web sight www.fun-tronicsllc.com and check them out under the Ideal 55 section.

I had a old shell of a slider cooler they me and my body guy decided to see how hard it would be to dismantle.. and lets just say.. DoN"T you'll create more of a headache and mess trying to remove it and then trying to weld in a new peice... it is welded in in many places and you littlerly have to cut it outand it hacks up the body..
use the one that funtroncs sells , it's easy and looks great!

I currently have an Ideal 55 Pepsi slider that I'm parting out, and the 2 foot long piece at the top/front came right out.  

It was not welded on, and was easily removed.
