I just wanted to share with you guys. I know you guys talk about finding soda machines in barns, well in the small town of Avenal Ca. there sits a 60's Corvette in the weeds waiting restoration. I found it the other day while doing my rounds. And yes, I'm doing everything I can to get them to sell it to me.

Great find! That's a diamond in the rough!!!! The split window has a bar that splits the rear window in two pieces.

Nice find! Vette is sitting level so still has some sort of motor. Hope the original. Glass looks good as well. VW Beetle is early 60's (Big rear window). Money to be made if you can buy them right.
Hope you get them and keep us posted. Thanks! Creighton

That is my favorite Corvette! When I was a kid in the early 80's there was a 1963 split window near our house with a 428, 4 speed, black with silver stripes & a black interior. It was for sale for many years at a small car dealer in Dennisport, MA; this guy Rick always had a bunch of cool older cars around. My dad bought a 1935 Cheverolet Master Deluxe off him. I used to walk up to his shop just to drool over this car. He had it in his showroom with a bunch of other classics. It was for sale for $19,750; I remember because it seemed like such a huge amount of cash when I was young.
I agree with others, that bug is either a 1968 or 1969. I can tell by the front bumper and small turn signals on the front fenders. Those were a car that I could afford once I started driving. I had many of them.
