Will the AMP from a 1600 work in a 1650?

I am guessing that it should so long as I set it to play 45s.

Update:

The 1600 Amp did work in my 1650 jukebox. After buying a fairly nice looking Wurlitzer 1600, model 526 amp on Ebay I sent it off to Bill Bicker's Jukebox Friday Night where it was rebuilt and all the tubes were replaced. Now I am having issues with the credit box/coin mech. Is there anyone out there who rebuilds Jukebox credit boxes?

I am also looking for someone with the expertise to rebuild the speaker.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Quick Google on "Speaker recone" turns up some folks that might be able to help.
You could try asking Ron Rich on the Seeburg site about the credit box.

Reputable repair guys and speaker restores  can also be found advertising on alwaysjuking.com
Never tried to rebuild a  credit mech, may be easier to salvage one.

Thanks for the input.

As for the credit box, I was thinking the same thing, find a nice working one and buy it vs trying to fix the one I have.

Thanks again
