A Vendo 81D I bought Today

  Missing the coin mech.   I have a large door out of a 110.  My luck is it will be a small door mech. that I would need to make it complete!!

     If it's missing the mech completely, yours will work no mater which style it originally came with.

Five basic LD mechs:
Westinghouse
Jacobs
Sure-Vend
VMC
Vendo
Main difference is the shaft length/pinhole, but there are a couple subtle differences between some models aside from change-giver & non-change-givers.

I've seen that machine...no worries, it's a large door mech. That's missing...good luck...try to get it for $1000

Not to hyjack this thread but I talked to Tom earlier today since this 81 is converted to electric coin mech . there could be some type of alterations to the vending stack also??

I will need to get more pictures to from the seller to determine if the vending stack will work to switch it back to a fuctional mechanical mech. machine, etc.

You got a good deal on that machine.  They are out there.  Just have to look harder for them.  The problem now is that everyone thinks the stuff is gold from watching TV. 

Square tops have been popping up around here with insane asking prices.
