I agree , it was worth about $1000 to me because it had to have a total go over and the guy who bought it said he was going to have some one do it for him. If you have it done right he will have a good bit in it when finished but it must be worth that to him.

Exactly!

I get the same question all the time. When we (repair and restoration guys) work on
a machine, it doesn't matter whether it's from the 50's and a 44 or if it's from the
70's and it's a Cavalier 64. If we are the ones doing the work, the time and labor are the
same, but the values of the machines...no comparison.

So...what's it worth...to THAT customer?
